You’re challenged to be highly introspective – which you may not ordinarily do. By doing this you discover what you really really really really really desire vs what you THINK you should want. Big difference!
As you think about the goals you have set for yourself right now, ask yourself “Where did this come from? Is it mine or did someone else tell me it would be good for me?”
If it’s not really yours, it’s time to evaluate whether you desire it or not.
And if you’re like a lot of us, you may not have any goals or intentions for your life. Oooops! How can you ‘go anywhere’ if you don’t decide where to go, or when to act, or what to do? More importantly, how do you know you’ve arrived if you don’t know where you’re going!
Many people resist goals because they fear failure when actually there’s only one way to fail – don’t do anything!
